Feeling the Spirit

I was lost, and now I found,
I could not see, what was all around.

I did not hear, I did not listen,
I felt your Spirit, I felt it glisten.

I could not see, I had no vision,
The world had taught me, dual division.

I felt the love, but didn't understand,
The Love in my heart, was put there by God's hand.

Sometimes the wisdom, I could see,
But my ego told me, it was just me.

I was lost and now I found,
My Spirit of God, was always around.

venting

When you live so very near, and you tell Him on facebook,
How much you love your father dear.

But you don't have the time, just say how much you care,
But just can't spend the dime.

No time to visit or to send a card, then let me tell you a few things about your Dad.
and the times he worked so hard.

To keep food in your belly, and clothes on your back,
the love in his heart, that somehow you lack.

Oh, your going to church, isn't that just fine.
Give them your love, and drink the wine.

But remember this sunday, was meant for your Dad,
and you don't have the time, Isn't that sad.
